Problem
In some cases, to follow up on troubleshooting, it is necessary to get a picture from your phone screen (in terminology, take a screenshot) and send it to us.
In Android OS 4 or higher, use one of the following methods to do this: (the first method is possible for older versions of android even 2.3 and it is working)
The first method: using phone buttons
- First, prepare the relevant situations. For instance, if you are supposed to send the image of an error message or specific window, be sure that the relevant message/window is visible and ready to take the image.
- Hold <on/off> and <volume down> button simultaneously for 1 or 2 seconds. In some models (especially Samsung), holding <on/off> and <Home> simultaneously will do the same.
- The screen will blink once and its image will be saved in the phone gallery.
The second method: using on/off the menu
- First, prepare the relevant situations. For instance, if you are supposed to send the image of an error message or specific window, be sure that the relevant message/window is visible and ready to take the image.
- Hold the on/off button a while until the relevant menu appeared.
- In some models, in addition to options such as: mute and turn off, this menu involves the Screenshot option.
The third method: using another phone
If your phone does not support any of the above methods, you can always take an image with another phone and sent it to us.
