Installing Padvish With Default Settings File and Specified Update File

Problem

  1. How can I apply a default configuration as soon as Padvish is installed?
  2. How do I add the Padvish update next to the installer so that it can be used as soon as it is installed?

Solution

When installing Padvish- especially for single-user-system- you need to apply a fixed configuration to all systems.

Padvish simply allows you to apply a default configuration during installation. To do this, you need Padvish Management Console:

  1. Create a new group in Padvish Management Console and adjust your desired configuration in it.
  2. Right-Click on the new group and select the Change Client Settings> Export Settings option.
  3. In the opened tab, save the anti-virus settings as Padvish. pcfg (this name is important and must not change at any cost)
  4. Place the file next to the Padvish installation application, when installing. This can use for both normal and silent (Agent) installation applications.
  5. Padvish will run with your default configuration as soon as it is installed.

In the same way, if you need Padvish to upload a specified update file as soon as you install it, just place the signature.apbundle file next to the Padvish installation application.

Note: instead of the above method you can use the Offline Clients option in your Padvish Management Console if you need to manage single and Offline Clients under your management console.

From now on, the advantage of this is that it will be possible to update, configure, and even receive reports from clients with a flash drive.
