Installing Padvish on Laptops With Windows 10 Version 1809

Signs and Symptoms

  1. After installing Padvish laptops with Windows 10 (version 1809) and system reset, the system goes into recovery mode. (for more information visit the Solution section)
This is solved in Padvish Version 2.5.312.3990 and higher.

Solution

This happened if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. Your Windows is the last version of Windows 10 (1809)
  2. Secure Boot mechanism is active on your system BIOS. (in case that this mechanism is disabled or your BIOS, does not have this option, there will be no problem)
  3. Your system did not upgrade from previous versions but is a new installation of Windows 10. (in case that your Windows version was, originally, below 1607 and upgraded to version 1809, you will not have this problem).

Note that if any of the above-mentioned conditions are not met, there will be no problem.

The reason is the change in Microsoft driver policies which is recently being applied in the latest version of Windows. Due to this alteration, Windows will prevent certain kinds of drivers from loading due to the digital signature of the drivers, and this will cause the system to not boot.
